Browning Sportsman Series knife model 40181

In 1968, Browning introduced a line of cutlery in the form of 3 fixed-blade hunting knives and a folding knife designed by Custom Knifemaker Gil Hibben. The selection of knives was later expanded and produced in the USA, Japan and Germany featuring a leather sheath made in Mexico.

The Browning Sportsman Series Model 40181 is a Trailing Point Hunting Knife and is 8" OAL with a 4" blade. The blade was made of 440c Stainless Steel, and the wood handle is Staminawood. Knife was made by Browning in the USA.

This knife is used but in great condition, the rugged leather sheath is a later model Browning USA sheath. Judge condition from the photos. This is a classic, well-designed hunting and skinning knife, ready to be used
