Marbles Plainsman Knife Made in USA- NOS Model 80503. The Plainsman is widely considered to be one of the best all-purpose field knives in the Marble's line. The straight spine blade is composed of high carbon steel for strength, sharpness and edge retention. Textured black Kraton (safe grip) handle with vintage fox and hounds scene. Lanyard hole. Imported Embroidered black Cordura belt sheath. Knife Made in USA, sheath imported. This knife will provide years of dependable, superior service.

This knife is NOS. The blade is excellent and the Kraton handle very comfortable. Featuring 1095 steel that has a matte finish to reduce rust, its a steel that can get razor sharp. I have carred this model for many years, backpacking. camping and bushcraft. It is tough and holds a good edge. The sheath has proven durable. It makes a great all around knife, not too flashy; lightweight and durable.
