Developed in the early 1900, the Marbles Safety Axe started it for the Marbles Company originally known as the MSA Co. It was designed for a hunter or camper with a covering that protected the blade when thrown in a pack, canoe, or carried.

This safety axe was produced overseas for Marbles. It is NOS but the box and blade have storage issues. The box shows some staining and one side of the blade has some spots. Judge from the photos.
