SOLD Ontario U.S. Army Quartermaster Knife P3-0424
The original Quartermaster model 225Q was designed for supply personnel with a unique stout pointed tip used to pry open crates, and a heavy pommel to pound the crates closed. Its rugged design quickly became very popular with WWII Infantry troops and was carried in combat. This USA made Ontario reproduction knife has a 10-3/4 overall length and a 6" 440A stainless steel blade. It features a stacked leather handle with brass guard and butt. Comes with a sturdy brown leather belt sheath with 2 keeper straps. Knife made in the USA however, no longer in production.
This is NOS in original box. Box shows some age. The blade has a few small scratches on it but more like handling than use. Judge from the photos. This knife would be a good woods knife, survival tool or collectible. It has a stout 6” stainless steel blade, a strong point and a brass pommel combined with a factory leather sheath.
