80's Valor Super Sport 368 folder with Deerskin pouch: perfect for desk or jacket.

Valor Corp of Miami, Florida was an importer of knives from Seki, Japan in the 70's - 90's. They advertised in Sportsman Magazines and sold direct. They employed a variety of high quality manufacturers in Seki, Japan including Ichiro Hattori and Tak Fukuta.

Excellent Seki, Japan 3.5” taper grind blade of 440 Stainless Steel, 8.5” OAL length. Knife is nice and tight, great condition. Beautiful striped resinwood handles with 4 brass pins. Complete with a soft handmade belt pouch of what appears to be deerskin.

The Japanese knife makers preferred to use their equivalent metal to 440 stainless usually AUS 8. A good metal for knives.
