CIA Finland Hackman Camp Knife

Vintage Original 1960’s CIA Vietnam Issue Hackman knife.

This Hackman-type was standard CIA Issue during the 1960’s, made in Finland

Designed by Tapio Wirkkala, the CIA supplied its very own operatives and special units of the Vietnamese Friendlies with these knives during the Vietnam War. These were given out as "gifts" to Indigenous people in Vietnam by MACV/CIA types

Placed in survival kits for CIA field operatives, the nylon-handled ones are sturdy and strong for their weight.

This knife is used, has been sharpened and carried. Knife measures 4 3/4" when closed. The blade itself measures over 3 3/4”. Blade is stainless steel. Judge for yourself from the photos.
