Vintage Frontier 4622 Folding Hunter White used -0125

The Frontier Knives were made by Imperial (Imperial-Schrade) from 1976 to 1984 using older Schrade tooling at their Imperial R.I. plant. Their description of these knives in their brochures was: Each blade pivots satin smooth and clicks into position precisely. Note the glistening solid nickel silver bolsters and "powderhorn" shield fitted in the indestructible Delrin handle. Each Frontier Series blade is precision ground and tempered to a uniform hardness of 57-59 on the Rockwell C scale. You see many Schrade blade patterns in the knives produced between 1975 and 1985 when they merged the 2 companies at the Ellington plant and discontinued the better knives like the Frontier series.

These were extremely well-made folders.
