Vintage Frontier 4624 Folding Hunter Black
The Frontier Knives were made by Imperial (Imperial-Schrade) from 1976 to 1984 using older Schrade tooling at their Imperial R.I. plant. Their description of these knives in their brochures was: “Each blade pivots satin smooth and clicks into position precisely. Note the glistening solid nickel silver bolsters and "powderhorn" shield fitted in the indestructible Delrin handle. Each Frontier Series blade is precision ground and tempered to a uniform hardness of 57-59 on the Rockwell C scale.”
They produced variety of knives and models including the white handled model, the 4622.
They produced high quality for 8 years knives with a 25 year Warranty until 1984.
NOS knife in box. Clip and skinning blade 5.25” closed. Judge condition from photos.
