1999 SOG Tigershark; Seki, Japan

The larger version of the SEAL Knife, it has a massive 9" Bowie-Style blade that is powder coated and partially serrated. This striking knife came razor-sharp and with the deepest serrations, so it easily takes on big or small cutting, slicing and chopping chores.

The Tigershark is the big brother of the "Seal 2000", which was tested and approved for use for the US Navy SEALs against a grueling set of requirements. The 1st Tigersharks where polished blades, adding powder coating reduced reflection. This was the last model Tigershark produced in Japan.

The SK-5 Tigershark is also the iconic knife used in the "SOG split bullet logo", using the picture of it cutting the .45 pistol round.

Knife is used, carried and sharpened; makes a great survival/combat knife. A large knife weighing 17 oz with a powerful 9" Blade. Powder coating is worn off the Stainless Steel blade in places.  Kydex sheath shows handling, great overall condition. Judge conditions from the photos.
