SOG Seal Team Skindiver Sheath with Grooove.
SOG Seal Team 2000 Seki, Japan Kydex skin diver Sheath-NOS
The SOG SEAL 2000 is a 7" bladed fixed blade knife with a rubber handle that was designed for the grueling US Navy SEAL knife trials in 1992. The knife was manufactured from 1995 to 2007 for SOG by Kinryu of Seki Japan. Knives such as these and many of the SOG models produced prior to the shift of production from Seki, Japan to Taiwan are considered the best knives SOG made.

Knife comes with a kydex sheath design also called the skin diver sheath because it has a rope cutter groove in the sheath to utilize the blade edge without removing the knife from the sheath. Robert Hanna working with Navy Seals repeatedly noticed soldiers getting injured when handling open blades off the coast of California. He spent years perfecting the Grooove, an innovation that allows rope/line to be cut without unsheathing the knife. . The sheath can also be directly attached to a belt without removing it by means of a gate (see photo).
Knife and sheath used but appear in excellent condition. Did not come in a box. Has marks from being inserted into kydex sheath, no obvious blade use. May show handling, Judge for yourself.
