1977 Western Westmark 701

Westmark was a line of higher end Western knives started in 1970 with the 701 and later, the 702 and 703 were added. The 701 was produced from 1970-1987; this knife was produced in 1977.

“These handmade knives represent the ultimate in design, craftsmanship and materials. Made for rugged use, they have heavy gauge blades with double tangs and handles with form fitting contours. Each blade is stamped with an individual serial number. Leather scabbards are hand crafted from carefully selected 8 oz hides and made with a triple thickness on the edges and heavy nylon stitching.”

Model 701- Designed with a high point and long curved cutting edge. Stainless steel saber ground 5.5” blade with satin finish. Laminated resin impregnated hardwood handle has brass guard and aluminum end knob. Overall length 10”.

Knife is used, shows handling and small scratches on the numbered side of the blade. This hunting knife is in great condition. It was the knife you dreamed of as a hunter in the 70’s and 80’s.
