Vintage Sharp 2000s; Hattori, Seki, Japan

"Sharp" was a U.S. Importer of knives in the late 1970s to 1980s period. They offered a number of Seki, Japan made fixed blades and folding knives. These were often sold through K-Mart and other retailers. 7" OAL, 3" Hollow ground blade of 440 steel (many Hattori's were later discovered to use AUS-8 steel). The handle is resin impregnated wood. This knife has sharpening scratches, but is a great drop point design, and has good snap and is good and tight. Hattori made an identical knife under their own label as well.

Hattori made the Sharp Model 1000s fixed blade knife which looked like this folder but in a fixed blade.

Knife and sheath are used. Knife locks well.
