Benchmade 153BK Jungle Bolo

The Benchmade 153 Jungle Bolo was designed by knife maker Warren Osborne. It features a 9.69" bolo point 1095 spring steel blade with a santoprene handle. Spring steel is medium-to-high carbon, low alloy steel which is high in yield strength. The high yield strength enables the blade to endure significant bending or twisting, and will return to its original shape without any deformation. The santoprene handle possesses many of the same characteristics as natural rubber, but santoprene holds up better under extreme hot and cold conditions. A leather sheath with a belt loop is included for you to conveniently carry the Jungle Bolo Machete. These are big, impressive knives designed for brush clearing in jungle warfare situations.
