1980’s Precise Deerslayer, White - Hattori knife- Seki, Japan

You can readily see the Bob Loveless influence on this Precise Deerslayer Ltd Drop Point Hunter made in Seki, Japan by Ichiro Hattori. Tak Fukuta of Seki. Japan was an understudy of Bob Loveless in the 70's and returned to Seki, Japan to manufacture knives. Many of the Seki, Japan knife makers shared information and some adopted the Loveless Drop Point Design. It is a versatile blade design, extremely popular with hunters.. 

This knife has a 3.5" drop point blade of 440 Stainless Steel (Japan AUS 8) done in a tapered grind with a white palm swell handle for comfort. OAL 8", weight of knife 6 oz, knife and sheath 7.4 oz. Blade is full tang, with a white handle with lanyard hole and secured by 2 pins.

Knife is used and shows handling. Knife is sharp. Sheath shows handling from being stored upright. Judge from the photos. Knife has a great feel and is extremely sharp. 0524
