USA made Cold Steel Recon Tanto

Vintage Cold Steel Recon Tanto Carbon, V USA made. The blade measures 7" with a checkered rubber handle has a brass lanyard hole. OAL; 11.5". The Carbon V, similar to 1095 gained a following for its ability to get a sharp edge. Has leather sheath with 2 keeper straps. Bought used at a gun show, black finish on blade was removed. Has wear on Kraton rubber handles at tang (from sanding). Needs additional sharpening. A very stout design, perfect in bug out bag for security or as a camp knife. Made in USA before they were made in Japan and China. A little effort will yeild a great knife.
