Ontario U.S. Army Quartermaster Knife P3

The original Quartermaster, the Cattaraugus 225Q was designed for supply personnel with a unique stout pointed tip used to pry open crates, and a heavy pommel to pound the crates closed. It quickly became very popular with WWII Infantry troops and used in combat. This Ontario reproduction knife has a 10-3/4 overall length and a 6" 440A stainless steel blade. It features a stacked leather handle with brass guard and butt. Comes with a sturdy brown leather belt sheath with 2 keeper straps. Knife made in the USA. No longer produced.

This is NOS in original box, never carried but the blade has small scratches on one side perhaps from the sheath. Judge condition from photos. This is a strong knife good for all-around use as a survival knife, hunting knife, or stashed in a bug out bag.
