2014 UTK 4” A-2 tool steel Wilderness Knife prototype 3 of 5
In 2014 I attended the Oregon Knife Collectors Show in Eugene, OR during which I met Jim Meyers of UTK. We talked and I bought several of his knives to sell. Later after the show and I bought several more knives including 2 prototypes one of which is this 4" wilderness knife. I found it to be an excellent knife. I decided to purchase this prototype which I loved with the unique stonewashed finish of A-2 tool steel. #3 of 5
The blade and knife are in great condition, after testing I put it back in the box until I ran across it recently and decided to offer this knife for sale. You can go to the UTK site for Utility Tool Knife if you want additional information.
I have also been pleased with the 8" Field knife prototype I bought with a blade of 1095 steel with Cocobolo handle. https://fitzwillies.com/pages/abner-fitzwillies-blog.htmlutc-2012-8-field-knife-prototype-1095-hc-steel/
