Becker BK-22 Campanion (same blade as the BK-2) $98
The Becker BK-22 campaign is 10 5/8" overall. 5 1/8" black epoxy powder coated 1095 Cro-Van carbon steel drop point blade. Hardened to 56-58 HRC. Full tang. Black Grivory handles. Lanyard hole. Black glass filled nylon belt sheath with storage pouch and protective insert.
The Becker BK2 and the Becker BK-22 use the same knife, the sheath is different. The BK-22 has the nylon sheath with storage, the BK-2 has the Black glass reinforced nylon sheath . The nylon sheath is more expensive due to the storage pouch. If you search Becker BK2/BK22 sheaths, you will find a huge selection of aftermarket sheaths being offered. Some more expensive than the knife.
Abner Fitzwillie notes, "Designed by Ethan Becker, the BK22 is one of the most popular knives among survivalists. The 1095 blade is nearly 1/4" thick making it almost industructible and 1095 is one of the easier metals to put an edge on. The black powder coating prevents rust and the storage pouch on the nylon sheath is handy for storing a firesteel, matches, compass or other small survival items. This is one tough knife."
